Paper accepted at IE 2018

Our paper “Gesture-Based Object Localization for Robot Applications in Intelligent Environments” written by Dennis Sprute, Robin Rasch, Aljoscha Pörtner, Sven Battermann and Matthias König has been accepted for presentation at this year’s International Conference on Intelligent Environments. The conference takes place at the Sapienza University of Rome, Italy from 25.- 28. June 2018.
The paper deals with the localization of objects based on human pointing gestures in an intelligent environment, such as a smart home. This work is part of the Seerose project dealing with service robots in smart homes.
