Two of our papers have been accepted for presentation on this year’s IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS) to be held in Madrid, Spain.

The paper “The Power of Color: A Study on the Effective Use of Colored Light in Human-Robot Interaction” authored by Aljoscha Pörtner, Lilian Schröder, Robin Rasch, Dennis Sprute, Martin Hoffmann and Matthias König investigates the effect of colored light in different human-robot interaction scenarios.

The second paper “Virtual Borders: Accurate Definition of a Mobile Robot’s Workspace Using Augmented Reality” is written by Dennis Sprute, Klaus Tönnies and Matthias König. It describes the development of an interaction method based on a RGB-D Google Tango tablet to specify virtual borders to mobile robots.
