Class Description

This project focuses on reading sensor data and controlling actuators of the new building at the Campus Minden of the FH Bielefeld. An architecture of communication between different sensors and actuators will be developed. Based on the acquired data, a model shall be developed to derive a prediction of the usage of the building and its rooms. This will help to minimize the costs and energy consumption while considering user-demands for comfort. Another topic of this project is to support the additional two research projects of this institute. Non-typical sensors and actuators with a radio-based communication will be developed which are specialized for the particular research topic.
