IoT-Lab at the Hannover Messe 2017 and Visit of the German Federal Minister of Education and Research

Currently, the 70. Hannover Messe takes place at the Hannover Exhibition Center. The exhibition has started on Monday, the 24. of April and continues until Friday, the 28. of April. Alongside 10 other research groups and projects, the IoT-Lab is part of the exhibition stand of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research in hall 2, stand B22. We present a live demonstration of the project Seerose, which deals with the integration of service robots into intelligent respectively smart home environments.

As yet the exhibition is very successful. On Monday, we had the opportunity to present the project Seerose to a delegation of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research headed by the Federal Minister of Germany Johanna Wanka. After a few introductory words by Matthias König, the Minister took a seat and gave the system a try. She was noticeably pleased about the progress of the project and thanked the whole team consisting of Matthias König, Sven Battermann, Robin Rasch, Dennis Sprute and Aljoscha Pörtner. A more detailed article and additional photos can be found on the website of the Federal Ministry.
