The paper “Privacy-preserving People Detection Enabled by Solid State LiDAR” written by Andrei Günter, Stephan Böker, Matthias König and Martin Hoffmann was accepted for publication at this year’s International Conference on Intelligent Environments (IE). Originally planned to take place in Madrid, the conference will be held as a virtual event from 20-23 July, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The paper proposes a robust and privacy-preserving people detection method based on light detection and ranging as sensing technology.
